９月の陶芸教室では電動ろくろ体験がありました。
最初は先生がデモンストレーションで急須や花器を作ってくださいました。手の間で粘土がどんどん形を変えていくのはまるで魔法をみているようです。
さあ、体験。安定してクルクル回るろくろの上の粘土、いい形になってきたなぁと思って気を緩めると、両手の圧の加減がちょっと変わり作品が傾いたりゆがんだりします！大変！
「ちょっとしたことで台無しになっちゃう、なんか人生みたいね！」
とある参加者の方が感想を述べられていました。
いえいえ、台無しにはなりません、先生がちゃんと立て直してくれます。
We had a electric potters wheel workshop in September.
The teacher first showed us how to make a teapot and vase. The clay shifted into beautiful shape between his hands. It was like watching magic.
And then came the students' turn. The clay on the wheel turns in a moderate speed, and the shape of the clay shifts. When you think you are doing well and lose a bit of concentration, the balanced shape starts to wobble. Oh dear!
"You lose it in just a flick, it's like life, isn't it?"

Oh, no, you won't lose it. The teacher will support you to pull it back in shape.
